Client Property & Customer Requirements
The customer’s property is a single family home located in the Southwest Florida community of Bonita Springs. This homeowner was looking to add storm protection to the patio and lanai area of their home.
They had a few requirements:
Hurricane protection – their main goal was protecting their family and property during the Florida Hurricane Season
Good looks – they wanted something that would add to the aesthetics of their stunning pool area
Convenience and ease of use – they really wanted a hurricane protection system that was fast and easy to use
Added functionality – specifically they wanted shade from the Florida sun and blocking UV from their lanai. They also wanted to keep the elements (such as rain) from getting into their lanais.
In summary, these Bonita Springs homeowners wanted to better protect their home while increasing the enjoyment and comfort of their backyard oasis. Oh yeah, and they wanted their house to look great!
Product: EUREX SHUTTERS PTX™ Automatic Hurricane Screens
The client chose our custom, hurricane-rated PTX™ Hurricane Screens. They opted for automatic screens controlled by electronic motors. As for configuration, they have two screens positioned side-by-side. So their entire lanai area is enclosed and protected when the screens are closed.
As for color, they selected tan/white screens and beige frames and housings. The frames and housing boxes match their home’s exterior wall color seamlessly. And the color of the screens go very well with the white/tan/grey paver stones.
These hurricane screens look absolutely amazing on this already beautiful pool home!
