We recently completed another installation of white EUREX SHUTTERS PTX™ Rolling Shutters on a condo in Sanibel FL. It was another successful installation and another satisfied customer! Keep reading as we share more details on the installation and some photos of what the property looks like with its brand new roll down hurricane shutters.
Client Property & Requirements
The customer’s property is a condominium unit located in Sanibel Florida.
Unfortunately, this property’s old hurricane protection was completely destroyed during Hurricane Ian in 2022. As most people know Hurricane Ian caused a significant amount of damage to both the island as a whole and to individual properties on Sanibel. As a result, our customer’s main goal was protecting their family and home against future storms.
They also didn’t want the shutters to drastically change the look of their unit, which is an important consideration in a condo building.
And lastly, the owner wanted the shutters to be fast and convenient to use. Or in other words, they wanted to be able to deploy them (close them) rapidly.

Product: EUREX SHUTTERS PTX™ Automatic Rolling Hurricane Shutters
The client chose to install custom, hurricane-rated EUREX SHUTTERS PTX™ Roll Down Hurricane Shutters. The shutters and tracks are both bright white in color. And in terms of operation, they chose automatic shutters with electric motors. This makes them extremely easy and fast to operate.
Their new white roll down shutters look amazing. They really do go nicely with the white trim and gutters of the building. And their sleek design means their appearance is minimized when open and closed.
So what was the final result? The installation turned out great! These new custom, hurricane-rated Roll down shutters will provide this homeowner with strong storm protection and great looks for many years to come.
