Another successful installation of EUREX SHUTTERS PTX™ Rolling Shutters in Fort Myers Beach. Our team completed this install in a unit of a mid-rise condo building located on the south side of Fort Myers Beach (near Bay Beach). It was another successful installation and another satisfied customer!
Below we share some more details on this shutter installation. You can also find some photos and a video to see what the condo unit looks like with its brand new roll down hurricane shutters.
Client Property & Requirements
The customer’s property is an amazing condominium unit located in a mid-rise condo building in Fort Myers Beach Florida. It is located on the south side of the island in the Bay Beach area.
The owner wanted to install hurricane shutters that would protect their home and family during hurricane season. After the damage suffered to the island of Fort Myers Beach from the 2022 hurricane season it was easy to understand why.
They also didn’t want the shutters to change the look of their unit. This is a very important consideration in a condo building. Roll down shutters are a great solution for this situation because they can be installed as “hidden roll down shutters”. This is where the housing boxes are hidden so they are not visible from the exterior of the property. In this case, the housing boxes are installed on the inside of the unit, so the shutters are completely invisible from the exterior until they are actually closed. Also, roll downs have a very sleek and minimal appearance. This further reduces their visibility even when they are closed.
And lastly, the owner wanted the shutters to be fast and convenient to use. You can see how quick and easy they close in the video below.

The Solution: EUREX SHUTTERS PTX™ Automatic Rolling Hurricane Shutters
The client chose custom, hurricane-rated EUREX SHUTTERS PTX™ Roll Down Hurricane Shutters. They chose to go with automatic shutters driven by electric motors. This makes them extremely easy and fast to operate.
Roll down shutters are a popular choice of hurricane shutters in Fort Myers and throughout the Gulf Coast. They look great, are super easy to use, and provide strong hurricane and security protection.
The installation turned out great! These new custom, hurricane-rated Roll down shutters will provide strong storm protection and boost their home’s appearance for many years to come.
