Fort Myers sits on the river and the Gulf, so hurricanes and tropical storms are an ongoing risk. Homeowners here deal with:
Hurricane-force wind
Flying debris
Roll shutters offer the absolute best hurricane protection for your windows, doors, sliding glass doors, balconies, patios, and other openings. They protect your home’s openings from flying debris and intense winds. Roll down shutters protect against wind and flying debris, but they are not intended to stop floodwater.
“EUREX WAS AWESOME! THEY GAVE ME A GREAT PRICE AND THEIR WORK WAS INCREDIBLE. THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY HAD A BETTER PRODUCT. NOT ONLY WERE THE MOTORS BETTER, BUT THE PRODUCT ITSELF WAS BETTER.”
-Robin S.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Tommy, Hans and the front office over the past 7 years. Whenever I needed parts to repair the shutters Eurex installed, they were consistently able to provide all of the items I required (In Stock!) and even offered several tips to expedite the repairs. Anyone can sell you a product, it is the service and support that follows which defines the seller. Honest owners, quality products, service with a smile, that’s Eurex.”

Some Recent Installations of Roll Down Hurricane Shutters in Fort Myers
Most residential roll shutter installations are completed within a day or two once they are started but do vary, depending on the products and number of openings you have. Your estimate will include a specific timeline for your project.
How much do roll down shutters cost in Fort Myers?
The cost of each project depends on the number of openings, shutter size (square feet), and whether you choose non-motorized or motorized operation. See our hurricane shutter cost guide or contact us for a free, no-obligation estimate tailored to your property.
Do roll shutters qualify for insurance discounts?
SWFL insurance providers may provide wind mitigation discounts for homes with approved hurricane protection on your home, including roll down shutters. Our team can help you understand what documentation you’ll need.
Do roll down shutters protect against flooding in Fort Myers?
No. Roll down shutters protect against hurricane winds and flying debris. They do not stop floodwater. Flooding from the river and the Gulf is a separate concern from wind protection, which requires products designed specifically for flood protection.
What happens to my motorized roll shutters if the power goes out?
Our motorized roll down shutters include a manual override, so you can operate them by hand even during an outage.
