This means they can withstand the impact of hurricane force winds and wind borne debris of even the most severe storm.

Energy Efficient Impact Glass Options

In addition to the type of window you also have the option of standard and insulated impact glass.

Impact Glass

Impact glass is made of three layers. There is a layer of glass, an interlayer, and another layer of glass. All of the hurricane proof windows we install are made with a high-performance SGP interlayer. SGP is 5 times stronger than the PVB interlayer used in most impact glass windows. So you will get the ultimate in storm and security protection.

Insulated Impact Glass

Impact insulated glass has all of the benefits of impact glass, but it is made with an additional layer. This additional layer acts as an insulation barrier. Insulated impact glass helps keep the exterior heat/cold out and the cold air from your AC in. In other words, they make your home more energy efficient.

You can choose hurricane proof windows with either vinyl or aluminum frames. The right frame material depends on your preferences and property.
