Know Your Zone and Why It is Important
If you live in Naples or elsewhere in Collier County it is important to know your zone. Your zone determines if and when you need to evacuate before a storm hits the area. Those in Zone A are in the most vulnerable areas, and residents in this zone are evacuated first due to life threatening conditions. These include wind and storm surge flooding. Those in Zone B are also very vulnerable to wind and storm surge flooding and are evacuated next.
You can determine your zone using the “What Is My Evacuation Zone” tool on the county website.
